My Driving Force
Often times along this journey we call life, we run into times and spaces where we seem to lose all motivation. Losing motivation is okay for some people, but for myself, I find it imperative to stay motivated. How you say? I have the perfect driving force.
For many people motivation comes for their parents, siblings, other relatives or friends. Some people even find motivation in people they don't even know. Take for example how people idolize celebrities nowadays. That's motivation. Me on the other hand, I find all my motivation from within myself! I know who I am, what I want out of life, and how I plan to get it. I know what I have endured and I have taken things from each experiences and used that to motivate myself to do better. I want the best out of life. I want to be the best version of Trey that I can be, and I know that I will never obtain that by having a "I give up" or "I can't take it anymore" mentality. I know that I have to push myself and stay motivated in order to achieve the things I have set my mind too.
Of course I can't take all the credit for my motivation. If it had not been for the Lord, who has always been by my side, I don't know that I would be who I am today. I am forever grateful and humbled by his presence and plan that He has set for my life. I keep the words that he wrote in Jeremiah 29:11 on my mind and heart each and everyday, and I know that no matter how hard it may seem, no matter how ugly things my be, "It's all in God's plan for my life." That's my driving force. It has always been, and it always will be, and I remain humble and very grateful for all the blessings it has afforded me thus far.
